These HDMI Baluns are a perfect solution for replacing costly standard HDMI & IR cables that are difficult to route thru walls and cabinets. One Cat5e, Cat6 wire using RJ45 terminations deliver digital signals & IR from the transmitter to the receiver. The IR ports are bi-direction so the emitter and receivers can operate in either direction. The IR receiver is plasma friendly.
